Penn State's Office of Educational Equity and the ACRES Project are proud to present Dr. Jane Thierfeld Brown, Ed.D. in the Mann Assembly Room tonight

Penn State's Office of Educational Equity and the ACRES Project are proud to present Dr. Jane Thierfeld Brown, Ed.D. in the Mann Assembly Room tonight at Penn State's Paterno Library. Dr. Brown, joined by Dr. Sharon Salter, Director of Special Education for the State College Area School District, will be giving a free public talk about assisting college students on the autism spectrum. Dr. Brown is Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale Child Study, Yale Medical School, Director of College Autism Spectrum and former Director of Student Services at the University of Connecticut School of Law. Dr. Brown has worked in Disability Services for 37 years, consulting with families, students, school districts and institutions of higher education. Dr. Brown has appeared on Good Morning America, CBS News and NPR, has authored several textbook chapters, articles, and books, and is a mother to a 24 year old son with autism.
