Because females often experience autism differently than males do, women and girls with autism are a frequently overlooked demographic. As they read and discuss books about the female autism experience, participants in ACRES' Women's Book Club connect with each other, share advice, and learn more about themselves. Our diverse group includes women of all ages and walks of life. This group meets at the ACRES house (2400 Bernel Road, State College) at 6 PM every other Monday. If you are interested in joining, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'd love to have you join us!
Our current book is Women and Girls with Autism Spectrum Disorder: Understanding Life Experiences from Early Childhood to Old Age.
