Join us at ACRES and learn to make, market, and sell beautiful handcrafted soaps! Just pick a mold and add scents and colors to create a unique bar of soap. Soaps are sold through Acres of Joy, our soapmaking business which is operated by adults on the autism spectrum.

Learn to prepare and cook delicious food! From hamburgers to lasagna to nacho dip, our cooking expert Ed guides a group of adults on the autism spectrum through a variety of participant-chosen recipes. The best part? Sitting down to eat the meal together!

A partnership between ACRES and the State College Area School District allows local high school students with autism and special needs to take part in this program. With the help of our staff, SCASD students learn about their individual diagnosis, how it affects them, and how they can advocate for themselves in college and on the job.
